What You’ll Do

As a Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst at Park Industries, you’ll play a vital role in connecting Finance with Manufacturing to drive accurate costing and insightful decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Business Partnering: Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to analyze costs, review inventory and purchase variances, and lead monthly reviews with manufacturing leadership—providing recommendations to improve performance.
  • Standard Costing Leadership: Manage and maintain the standard costing system, including labor, overhead, and freight calculations. Coordinate and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual cost rolls.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present monthly/quarterly reports and metrics, leveraging tools like Power BI to automate and enhance reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives that strengthen cost accounting practices and support cross-functional system projects in partnership with IT.
  • Financial Close & Audit: Complete monthly journal entries, reserve estimates, and other close activities. Serve as the lead contact for inventory-related audit processes and prepare supporting work papers.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with Manufacturing teams to prepare annual budgets, analyze results against targets, and present findings to drive informed decisions.
  • Systems Expertise: Provide JD Edwards cost accounting support for Finance and cross-functional teams.

As a Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst at Park Industries, you'll work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (required)
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, or equivalent education and experience (required)
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Pay Transparency Statement

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salaried rate for this position ranges from $63,000.00 to $85,000.00. Please note that the salaried range provided is an estimate and not a guarantee; the final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, location, and assigned shift. Full-time employees may also be eligible for variable compensation, company-wide incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. Additionally, the availability of benefits and programs may vary depending on the hire date, employment type, and hours worked.
