Operator of the general cargo facilities at the Port Authority-owned Clure Public Marine Terminal since 1991, LSW has established a worldwide reputation for its ability to handle all types of general cargo whether by ocean, rail or truck. In 2017, LSW entered into a partnership with CN Railway opening a new intermodal container terminal within the heart of its existing logistics facility in Duluth, MN that provides direct access to all three coasts. In both 2011 and 2015, Duluth was voted the top port in North America by dimensional shippers in the Railway Industrial Clearance Association (RICA). In 2019, the inaugural global port/terminal operator of the year award was received from Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding International Magazine.
Prior to joining LSW, Lamb worked six years for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. He also has more than 20 years of experience working with business and industry professionals and representatives of state and local government. Lamb is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., where he obtained a B.A. in political science.
Lamb is a past-president of the Transload Distribution Association of North America.
